At the start of the tournament, the USA was clearly the biggest favourite according to the odds (1.80). They are still the odds-on favourite, although the odds have gone up (currently 4.00).

USA W - odds and results:
Odds 1,45 against Sweden - but lost 0:3.
Odds of 1.04 against New Zealand - a 6-1 win is absolutely necessary.
Odds of 1.29 against Australia - but a 0-0 draw.

Sport is sport, the game is the game and it's still just people.. so as we already know, anything can happen.
This has to work. USA is not playing well at all this year, while the Netherlands is dominating. I believe the Netherlands will advance.
