In this game, I think it's an interesting bet at less than 218.5 points, because:
1. Cleveland has a good defense this season - they are conceding an average of only 102.4 points per game, which is the 2nd best defense in the entire league. The team has seen a similar trend recently, averaging just 102.9 points allowed per game over the last 10 games.
2. Cleveland is also playing at a rather slower pace - they have the 9th slowest pace of play in the entire NBA. Besides the long term injured Sexton, Cleveland is missing Rubio and Osman in this game, without whom Cleveland has scored only 106.3 points per game in the last 3 games.
3. Memphis is also doing well defensively - they are averaging just 105.1 points allowed per game in their last 10 games. Combined, these teams are getting only 208 points lately, which suits our bet.
4. Memphis especially misses Brooks and Melton, who are shooting a combined 29.8 points per game, and that may show in this game.
Considering Cleveland's slower pace, missing players on both sides, as well as pretty good defenses by both teams, I don't think more than 218 points will fall in this game.
My prediction: Number of points including overtime - Under 218.5 @ 1.68
