FRANCE: Ligue 1 - Round 4
Lyon have a very bad start to the season, which was certainly not expected, as Olympique is one of the main candidates for the Champions League every year. But Lyon have only 2 points after three rounds and now it's time to work hard because the gap to the top of the table simply can't grow any further.
Lyon needs to catch up and they also need a bit more luck. Against Nantes, they might be able to do it. They have also strengthened themselves with players like Emerson (on loan from Chelsea) and Shaqiri, who left Liverpool and should make the game in Lyon.
Cornet will be available against Nantes after a red card and Slimani will be available too after a yellow cards.
Nantes is a below average league club that always has as their primary goal to save and stay in the first league. They started the league with a lucky 1-1 draw in Monaco, where they had one shot on target, but it was enough for a point. Then they beat a weak Méty at home and lost in the last round in Rennes, where they were again under huge pressure and once again could only manage one shot between the three bars.
Nantes have a problem in the lineup and they should be weakened by 5 players in the starting lineup against Lyon. Just like during the defeat against Rennes - Coulibaly, Cyprien, Limbombe and Kolo Muani will not play and Simon Moses will be added.
