COUNTER-STRIKE: Intel Extreme Masters Season XVI - Winter (World) - Winners stage
There has been a lot of speculation about Vitality, such as wanting to get rid of half of their current roster, but that clearly didn't stop their players from putting in an outstanding performance at the BLAST Premier Fall Finals. There, they took down Danish Astralis twice with a brand new lineup, crushed American Liquid, and won one map in the finals against current world leaders Natus Vincere. Second place and an excellent result for the French line-up.
MOUZ, on the other hand, are somewhat unpredictable. They didn't manage to surprise the stronger teams in the Best of 1 games at the Major and then had to finish in the Best of 3, which backfired on them. After the Major, they didn't show a very convincing performance at DreamHack Open November, where they lost twice against MAD Lions, once even 0-2. After the Major, they too are speculated to have to change their lineup. In fact, star Robin "ropz" Kool may be leaving for a better one. And that doesn't add much to the motivation either.
In this case, I predict Vitality to win because they are clearly in better form and MOUZ is not able to use their potential and ace up their sleeve in the form of more aggressive tactics in Best of 1.
My bet:
Team Vitality @ 1.40 (bet365)
