FRANCE: Ligue 1
Marseille jumped to 3rd place in the table with their 1:0 win in Clermont last round and will continue to fight for the places that ensure at least qualification for the Champions League, which they missed last season by a huge 18 points. A week ago, Marseille spared several players for Thursday's Europa League clash, where Marseille drew 2-2 with Lazio Roma, their fourth draw in the fourth match of the season in Europe's second most prestigious competition. Just saved key players Payet and Milik contributed to both goals of their team and the first named is a key figure for Marseille in the long term (6+3 this season). He will surely want to improve his stats against the struggling Metz.
Metz, with the most poor defence, are second to last in the table and there are no signs that their results will improve. Last time it was a 1-1 draw against an even worse opponent (St. Etienne), which doesn't solve much for both teams at the moment, but in any case it was a game of beautiful goals.
Marseille must beat Méty in this situation and anything else would be a big loss against the second to last team in the table. Although the last 3 matches have ended in a draw, this time it should be a one-sided affair with at least 2 goals.
My bet:
Marseille and Over 1.5 Goals @ 1.64
