Premier League

Red Devils continue their excellent start to the new Premier League season, winning 2-1 at West Ham in the last round. West Ham didn't seem to know that giving Manchester the first goal doesn't pay off - United have already gained 35 points since the beginning of last season in the games they were losing, while the second most successful team in this aspect, Liverpool, gained 20 points. Ronaldo also scored in London on Sunday and nothing less is expected of him this time.
Cristiano Ronaldo has scored a goal in every game he has played in, 3 games 4 goals. Paul Pogba (7 assists) has also caught on, Bruno Fernandes (4 goals, 1 assist) is keeping his form and Lingard (2 goals) is also doing well after his return.

A battling Aston Villa (12 yellow cards) will visit Old Trafford, last time they beat Everton (3-0) and with a balanced score (2-1-2) are back in the middle of the table, where they mostly were last year. But their fans are looking for the European Cup and the latest performance of their favourites supported those dreams.
Danny Ings is the most active player for Aston Villa (2 goals and 2 assists), questionable is the new player Leon Bailey, who scored 1 goal and added 1 assist in 3 games.
However, few opponents have been so unpleasant for the Villans recently, as they have lost 14 of their previous 15 matches against United, with at least three goals were scored in each of the last four. And a shootout is on the menu this time as well.

H2H:
Villa 1:3 United
United
2:1 Villa
Villa 1:0 United
Villa 0:3 United
United 2:2 Villa

My bet:
Over 2.5 Goals @ 1.66 (bet365)

for higher odds:
Over 2.5 Goals and Both Teams to Score - Yes @ 2.20 (bet365)
Manchester United to win and Over 2.5 Goals @ 2.10 (bet365)

Man United rested their stars mid-week against West Ham in the EFL cup so the squad around Cristiano Ronaldo will be ready to hit again, especially at Old Trafford! Of course I expect CR7 to score again, but odds are too low for player like him to bet on it.

Manchester United home PL matches:
vs. Newcastle 4-1
vs. Leeds 5-1

Aston Villa away PL matches:
vs. Chelsea 0-3
vs. Watford 2-3

United at Old Trafford is amazing, didn't have a great opponent yet but both against Leeds and Newcastle it was really dominant performance and they created so many chances. Aston Villa is not performing well away from home yet and they got their points only from home matches (they play well at Villa Park! 7 points from 3 matches!) and the match at Old Trafford shouldn't be much different than the one against Chelsea last week. The only difference is Man United is still fighting with their own defense, while being full of stars and good players, many mistakes are done, especially by their CDM's (Fred, to name one:sneaky:)

Personal tip 3-1.

Manchester United over 2,5 goals @ 2,50 bet365

20 mins to go, AV playing on 110%, pace of the game is so high for them, I expect them to defend the point in late stage.

Corners 5-3 for MU

Race to 7 corners MU @ 1,90 in play

I'm done... 0-1 FT

Need to say Aston Villa came without fear, they played good football, not placing the bus.... deserved win!

I would like to know, why Bruno kicked that penalty this way? I've never seen him to kick it so bad... like he was nervous Cristiano is watching him?

This is not title contenders form, not even game display...

And my bet for MU 3 goals is KO of course...

in those 20 minutes, Man Utd did absolutely nothing which is scary... sorry for your bet.

Aston Villa played like they were the ones challenging for the title. Deserved victory. (y)

btw. I've never seen a shift as hard working as Ings in that first half. That is someone fighting through every wall imaginable and running themselves into the ground. Incredible effort from him. 🔥
