EUROPE: World Cup - Qualification
Malta have only a theoretical chance to qualify for the World Cup, the chances are very slim and in this game they will play for the honour of their national team at most. Currently, after six games played, they are in the second to last 5th place with 4 points. They will definitely go into the match as outsiders.
Slovenia is still playing for hope, if they make it through this game they have a chance to get to 2nd place in the group and in this case they would go to the World Cup Promotion. Of course it will depend on how they handle the next games against Russia and Slovakia. But the chance is much bigger than for Malta.
Slovenia have 7 points in six games. They go into the game as favourites and the quality will definitely be on their side, as we can find goalkeeper Oblak, Ilicic, Cesek or sniper Sporar in team.
Their last match was in September this year, when Slovenia beat Malta 1-0.
