UEFA Conference League
Slavia have three points after two Conference games and needs to get some point in Haifa, better yet, win. Coach Trpišovský's squad doesn't have the best memories of Israel, losing in Beer Sheva last year, so they will be wary.
Slavia Prague have two classic stoppers at its disposal for the first time in a long time, with both Kacharaba and Ousou ready to step in. The team's defence could be a bit more strong than in the previous matches, when Slavia failed to keep a clean sheet ten times in a row! On the other hand, the team is strong up front and scores goals quite regularly. This weekend the team scored three times, the team returned to the winning streak and boosted their confidence. Kolář, who has recovered from an injury, will probably be in goal, hopefully the break has done him some good.
The home team also did well at the weekend, winning 4-1, but as it turns out, team struggles on the international scene, especially at the finishing. In two Conference League matches, Haifa has yet not scored, they have only one shot on targer in 180 minutes! Haifa won a point at home against Feyenoord, where they only defended and it paid off in the end. Then they travelled to Berlin, Germany and were beaten 0-3 by Union. I'd say this one doesn't have extra great quality, the draw with the Dutch was rather very lucky.
Slavia have a wider and better squad, I believe they will win this game. But I choose a safer bet DNB.
My bet:
Draw No Bet: Slavia Prague @ 1.66 (bet365)
