GERMANY: Bundesliga
After less than a third of the competition, there must be dissatisfaction in Borussia Mönchengladbach, who have only four wins (4-3-4) under new coach Adi Hütter after 11 rounds, so they remain in the middle of the table, four points behind Wolfsburg, who hold the last place guaranteeing promotion to the Champions League, where Gladbach would like to return. The fact that three of their four wins have come at home, where their opponents have not yet come away with full points (3-2-0), may give them side a much-needed confidence boost. Gladbach can improve their positive record in Borussia-Park as they welcome the worst team in the competition, Greuther Fürth.
Newcomer remains at the bottom of the table with just one point and after eleven rounds has the worst record in the history of the 1. Bundesliga! Furth often hold a promising result, but collapse at the end - almost half (14) of the 29 goals conceded came in the last 30 minutes - which is also why they have the worst defence in the league. Fürth's absolute incompetence is also evidenced by their away league games - they have played 6 times so far and the results don't need much comment - 1:3, 1:4, 1:3, 1:2, 0:3, 1:5 (6 games and 6 losses with a total score of 5:20). Only in one match Fürth lost by 1 goal and in all other cases it was a loss by 2 or more goals.
After this league game, M´gladbach has 7 days off, so there is absolutely no reason to save players. Gladbach will fulfil the role of favourite and are likely to win by a higher difference.
My bet:
Asian Handicap: Monchengladbach -1.5 @ 1.95 (bet365)
