NHL
Calgary is in 2nd place in the Western Conference, having scored 29 points in 21 games and only 4 non-points games with a 70:42 overall score! They have the best defense in the entire league with an average of 2 goals scored per game. All 11 wins in regulation time were won by at least 2 or more goals. Their last game against Winnipeg didn't go their way, but before that they were in great form, winning against Chicago 5-2, Boston 4-0, NY Islanders 5-2, Buffalo 5-0, Ottawa 4-0, and a 1-2 loss to Philadelphia after overtime.
Los Angeles is 12th with 20 points in 21 games and a 53:54 score. In their last game they beat the worst team in NHL, Ottawa, but before that they had 5 losses in a row, even losing at home to Arizona. They are still searching for the form from the beginning of the season when they were doing well. The team is led by a very productive Kopitar, but he is not enough to do everything by himself and he doesn't get much support from his teammates.
The best team in away games comes to Los Angeles tonight with 20 points out of a possible 26 away. The visiting team will feature one of the most productive offenses in the competition - Lindholm, Tkachuk, Gaudreau, who have combined for 68 points. They should once again direct the game and lead their team to victory.
My bet:
In regular time - Calgary Flames @ 2.0 (bet365)
