Although Racing Lens lost last weekend in Lyon (2:1), they outplayed their opponents in some moments and if it wasn't for some great saves by goalkeeper Lopes and some unlucky shots into the bars, they could have taken at least a point. The team from the north of France will want to rely on their home stadium, where they have lost only one of the last 6 games, but above all on the productivity of the offensive part of the team - 5 players with at least 3 goals. In the 3-4-3 formation, which Lens has been practicing for a long time, virtually anyone of the attacking trio (Said, Kalimuendo, Sotoca), who have been playing regularly lately, can score a goal.
Troyes robbed the favourite Rennes of points last round and clearly showed that they won't give anything away for free at home. Even though the newcomer was down relatively early, they managed to apply a lot of pressure in the last ten minutes of the first half and turn the game around to 2-1 before the break. The second half was then very even, but a goal conceded at the end condemned Troyes to just a point after a 2-2 draw.
Troyes is not playing as well and determined away as at home, so I'm going with Lens, who need to get back on track after their previous loss and have the ideal opponent from the second half of the table. Lens should manage their match and move back to second place in the table at least by Sunday.
H2H:
Lens 1:0 Troyes (2020)
My bet:
Lens @ 1.57 (bet365)
