Manchester City, as Premier League champions, will play against the Fa Cup winner Leicester City in the Community Shield.

With all due respect to Leicester, Manchester City have far more quality and a team full of stars at every position. The quality is simply higher on City's side.
Manchester City won the title again last season and finished season with a 5-0 win against Everton. However, they failed to win the Champions League final, losing 0:1 to Chelsea. In friendlies they won against Preston 2:0, Barnsley 4:0 and Blackpool 4:1.
Leicester have only one win in friendlies, against Villareal 3:2, one draw with QPR (3:3) and two losses, 0:1 Wycombe and 0:1 Burton (after penalties).
I believe Guardiola will go into the game with the strongest squad at his disposal. Man City will have a bit more motivation because the players will want to fix their mood after losing the Champions League final and they will win their first trophy in the new season.

With Leicester's strenghthen up squad with new arrivals Daka (CF), Soumaré (DM) or Bertrand (LB), I think Leicester is capable of reaching the goals (or more?) here and of course I have no doubt Man City will score a goal/s here.

It's first match of the season after the break and I will hope Man City won't be in their best shape yet. I would like to see 18yrs old Samuel Edozie on the wing for City, he scored 3 goals while playing only 164 minutes in 3 pre-season matches!

I've noticed raising odds for goals here. It's Community shield where anything can happen and 3 goals in my eyes wouldn't be anything surprising. Both teams have good attacking power but that's something we all know.
