Leeds took a point from Brighton (0-0) in the last round and compared to last season, their performance is still a big disappointment. Marcel Bielsa's men are teetering on the brink of relegation and are struggling offensively, having scored just 12 goals in 13 rounds so far. No wonder they have only two wins yet. The fact that they have achieved them in their previous seven appearances (2-3-2) may be a slight hope for them, but there can be no talk of any significant improvement.
London Crystal Palace, led by renowned fighter Patrick Vieira, who has brought his bulldog style to his new team, is heading to the north of England this time. Palace are not at all easy to beat and have only lost on three occasions this season, albeit the last one against Aston Villa (3-7-3). The visitors have seven draws already, which suggests that this game could be even.
Given the current woes of the home team, no clear-cut outcome can be expected and both teams could be happy with the sharing points. Leeds have already drawn six matches and half of all 26 duels these teams played this year ended in a draw.
