ITALY: Serie A
Maurizio Sarri can't wait to face his former team, from where he was rather insensitively removed after winning the title. Lazio will welcome Juventus, who are a long way from the league title they last won under Sarri, and are three points behind fifth-placed Lazio. Lazio are very strong at home. In six appearances here this season they have won 16 points and lost only for a draw with Cagliari. Last year's champion Inter, for example, went without a point here and the city derby with AS Roma was also successful for Lazio. Lazio last beat Salernitana 3-0 at home and are the top team in terms of home games with a score of 18:6.
Juventus, on the other hand, are not doing anything great in away games (2-2-2) and last time at home they beat Fiorentina narrowly 1-0 with a goal from injury time. The losses in Verona and to Sassuolo are thus still vivid in the memory of Juve fans, who are also aware that the days of regularly taking all three points from here are gone.
In the last two occasions Juventus did not win here (0-1-1), which should not change even in the absence of the league's top scorer Ciro Immobile (10 goals). Ciro hasn't made an impact at home against Juventus in his last four appearances anyway.
My bet:
Draw No Bet: Lazio @ 2.0 (bet365)
