Match for the first place in the group E brings us to Lazio against Galatasaray. The Turkish side are leading the table with 11 points (3-2-0) while Lazio are behind with 8 points (2-2-1). Their first meeting in Istanbul ended 1-0 for Galatasaray. This game was pretty equal.
Galatasaray lost important points in the league (and it's four matches without win for them!) and now they are sitting 7th place, but only 3 points from 2nd place. While we could expect them in full power in Rome, I believe this will be defensively minded counter-attacking strategy as draw would be good for them too. Their main target will be not to lose so they can focus on their weekend league game against Sivasspor away.
Lazio will miss goal machine Ciro Immobile as he got injured after hitting the net two times last weekend in their 3-1 win over Sampdoria in Genoa. They are expected to battle for Europa League spot in the league, as there are other stronger UEFA Champions League contenders. Even without Immobile I believe Lazio will be very dangerous in front as they have nothing to lose and there are still players like Anderson, Pedro or Milinkovic-Savic. They should be on the ball more time and keep the pressure during the match.
Lazio on the other hand struggle in defensive part of the game as they have conceded 30 goals in 16 Serie A matches already! Due to this fact I expect Galatasaray's attack to be dangerous and that's why I won't predict outcome of this match, this really could end with Lazio/Galatasaray's win or draw, I really don't know.
This situation brings me to corner kicks bet, as Lazio will attack a lot and I believe they will get corners in this game against defensive Galatasaray. The Turkish side will try to get a goal to assure their 1st place in the group and I expect that to be done by counter-attacking, which can lead to many corners. Galatasaray is also very cornerish team in the league what only boosts my confidence in this tip.
