ATP - SINGLES: Gstaad (Switzerland), clay - Quarter-finals
Djere is currently ranked 52nd in the world, with a high of 27th in the world. Laslo Djere is Serbian and prefers to play on the slowest clay court. He has won several challenger titles on it, and two ATP titles in Rio De Janiero and Sardinia in 2019 and 2020. He has played the most matches on clay so far this year, winning 16 of his 26 matches there.
He has already reached the semi-finals here in 2018 and knows the tournament here. This year, he defeated Brazilian Seyboth Wilde (ATP: 118.) in two sets in the first round and the improving Zizou Bergs (ATP: 212.) in three sets in the round of 16.
Rinderknech is currently at his maximum and that is 100th in the world. Rinderknech plays mostly challengers and more ATP tournaments lately. Rinderknech likes to play indoors and has been playing well on clay. He has only won three challengers so far and all of them indoors, two in 2020 and the last one this year in Istanbul. Arthur has won 15 of his 23 matches on clay this year.
Here he defeated Stricker (ATP: 281.) in the first round and then, a little surprisingly, Bautista (ATP: 16.) in the round of 16, but he's been struggling to find his form these days, especially on clay.
My bet:
Laslo Djere @ 1.66 (local bookie)
