What Levante is currently experiencing can be described without exaggeration as a season of horror. Although the current LaLiga season is almost halfway through, they have not yet won a single game. In 17 rounds, they have won only eight points for the same number of draws, and lost the remaining nine matches. They have conceded 32 goals, the most of any team in the competition. And to make matters worse, they were eliminated in the second round of the Copa del Rey on Tuesday when they lost 3-4 on penalties to Alcoyano from the third division.
Levante will now welcome Valencia in the city derby, who, on the other hand, have been in good form in recent weeks. Including the two National Cup games, Valencia have not lost eight games in a row (5-3-0). Valencia are eighth in the league and their record in recent derbies also speaks in their favour: of the previous eight, Valencia have lost only one (4-3-1) - coincidentally the last one this March (0-1 away). But now the starting situation is different and the visitors are a slight favourite for me.
Prediction:
Draw No Bet: Valencia @ 1.80 (bet365)
