Levante is the only team in LaLiga that hasn't won even once in the current season. They have a score of 0-6-7 after 13 rounds, which puts them in second to last place. The main reason for this is the poor defensive performance, which has conceded 25 goals - the most in the competition. In the last game before the national team break, it looked like Levante might finally get a chance, as they were still leading 1-0 at Alavés with a quarter of an hour to go, but Joselu turned the score around with two goals (77th and 91st minutes) for the home side, and so Levante's wait for their first league win was prolonged. They will try to put an end to it in Friday's preliminary game of Round 14 when they host Bilbao.
Athletic is 12 points richer (4-6-2 score) and with eight goals conceded (11:8) is one of the best defending teams in the league. In the four previous games, they have conceded one goal each, but that cost them all the points in their last game before international break (0-1 at home to Cadiz). They would now like to make up for the surprising loss in Valencia, as they have been doing well against Levante for a long time. They haven't lost any of their last seven meetings (5-2-0). Away this season, Bilbao have not lost, but five of their six games have ended in draws (1-5-0). At the same time, Levante is very often draw in home games (0-4-2), so I'm betting on a draw at halftime or after 90 minutes of this game.
