After finishing fifth in the 2018/19 season and eighth in 2019/20, it was already a big disappointment last league season when Getafe finished 15th. But this season Getafe started the elite Spanish league much worse. After five rounds they are without a point, having scored a single goal (1:8). They lost to Valencia (1:0), Sevilla (0:1), Barcelona (2:1), Elche (0:1) and in the last match, they lost away to Vallecano (3:0).
However, in the context of Getafe, after the (so far) latest failure, the name of coach Míchel, whose future at the club is very uncertain after five losses in a row, was also mentioned a lot. The situation is all the more complicated as Getafe will challenge the defending champions in their next match.
Atlético go into the little Madrid derby with a 3-2-0 score and after two home 0:0 draws in a row (Porto, Bilbao). Away, Atletico have won both matches 2-1 this season (Celta Vigo, Espanyol) and will be favourites in Tuesday's prologue of the inserted Round 6.
If you don't want to bet on the result, I would choose to bet on Under 2.5 goals. More than two have not fallen in any of the last 13 (!) matches between these two clubs.
