ITF MEN - SINGLES: M15 Sharm El Sheikh 12 (Egypt), hard - 1/16-finals
This match will offer us a duel between Senegalese tennis player Seydina Andre (-) and Saba Purtseladz (1512) from Georgia.
Andre is an 18 year old player and is currently ranked 507th in juniors (max 326). He has practically no experience with men's tennis and this tournament is his debut on the ITF circuit. In the qualification he beat Singapore's Hobbs and then beat Taipei's Yin and Bulgaria's Sheyngezikht. He played 2 more Davis Cup matches this year and didn't won a set against Cameroon's Teboh and Nigeria's Oparaojie.
Purtseladze is a 20-year-old tennis player and is currently at his maximum in the men's game. In the juniors he was the highest ranked player at 264. He hasn't made much progress in the men's competition (12/14, 6/8 hard) and his highs this year are 2 advances from the opening round of the main competition in Telavi and Shymkent.
In this match, the favourite for me is definitely the Georgian player, who has a lot more experience in the adult category and even in juniors has achieved a better overall ranking. Seydina will be playing his first ITF main event here and it would be very surprising for me if he wins.
Saba Purtseladze to win @ 1.72 (bet365)
