ITF MEN - SINGLES: M25 Pretoria (South Africa), hard - Quarter-finals
In this match I will play a win for a 25 year old Greek Michail Pervolarakis (ATP 493) and he is a player I like to bet on when I know he has a playable opponent which I think is the situation here. He has a score of 21/18 this year when he has gone is one Futures final. The hard surface has 127/90 in his career. He's also beaten opponents like Schoolkate, Kozlov, Crawford, Noguchi, Lock this season and those are some nice wins... He's been pretty confident here at the tournament so far, beating Kalovelonis and Salton, so he's had playable opponents.
His opponent will be 22 year old Dutchman Ryan Nijboer (ATP 637), who has a 26/22 score this season and is 8/7 on hard surface, having played more on clay. Hard surface in his career is 71/43. Nijboer was also in one Futures final this year, but that was on clay. He even lost against players like Rihane, Voisin, Cabral, Sigsgaard, Hannested, Hoogmartens, Ayeni this year and those are pretty bad results. Here at the tournament he beat Efstathiou and Badenhorst.
Pervolarakis is my favorite and I just gotta like playing him here.
