ITF WOMEN - SINGLES: W15 Monastir 47 (Tunisia), hard - 1/8-finals
This match will offer us a duel between French tennis player Nina Radovanovic (977) and Jenny Duerst (560) from Switzerland.
Radovanovic is an 18-year-old tennis player and is currently at her ranking maximum. She has already completed a full season this year among the women and has a good 42/21 score. She plays mostly hard courts and has been in great form here in Monastir, taking semifinal in her last 2 appearances. She had to take a qualifier here this week, but she did it in dominating style, losing a single GAME in both matches. She also didn't falter in the main event, beating Ambrosio of Germany.
Duerst is a 22-year-old player and is also at her maximum. She has played clay and hard this year and has an identical 18/12 score on each surface. Her best game on hard came in March when she played the final in Sharm Al Sheikh. In recent weeks, she has not done well and has often finished in the opening rounds. Most recently, she lost in the first round to 19-year-old Israeli Kimchi in Funchal. Here she beat Britain's Maloney.
In this match, the favourite for me is the French tennis player, who has been doing well here in recent weeks and I expect her to use her form in this match and advance to the next round.
