ITF WOMEN - SINGLES: W15 Giza (Egypt), hard - Final
This match will offer us a duel between Egyptian tennis player Abdel Aziz Alhussein (643) and Tatiana Barkova (-) from Russia.
Alhussein is a 23-year-old player and is 13 positions away from her ranking maximum. She has spent most of this year on clay in Cairo. She played two finals and won one title and added 2 more semifinals appearances. On hard court she did best in Monastir, where she played one semifinal in June. Here she had a very favorable draw and went through Ricci, Domov, Smith and Ezzat in succession.
Barkova is an 18-year-old tennis player and is ranked 73rd in the juniors (max 38). She won one J2 title this year in Siauliai. She has a 7/6 score in the women's competition this year and has already made a very good impression recently in Luisada, Portugal, where she beat Szostak and Bulgara. Here she went undefeated against Fedor, Matusova, Sakellaridi and Marinkovic.
In this match, the favourite for me is the young Russian, who had a much tougher draw here and so far is advancing very dominantly, and I expect her to beat the home player Alhussein and win her first women's title.
Tatiana Barkova to win @ 1.72 (bet365)
