Hey Lucas?
Take this the right way...
Lose those fun bets and regular bets. I will BET that those numbers really don't change your life and you are probably down a bit with those in the long run. And the high one? Lose that too. You should really flat stakes at 2 to 2.5% of your roll on each bet instead of wasting time with tiers with some big bets, some little bets, and some fun bets that you may or may not really give a shit about all that much. Fun bets to me sound like you pulled a slot machine handle and if it gives you something back you can be happy. If it doesn't hit is it just 'Oh well?"
When you get more serious about it I suggest you just keep all of your action at about 2% and play good lines. I keep all of my lines at or above even money, as you see from my posts. I do not like to bet with lines above 1.83 or 1.80 or else I find another offer. The ROI is really the only thing that will ever matter to long-run bettors otherwise you are just fucking around making no ground or probably losing money. Watch out for Combos/Parlays because they are like scratch cards. You hit one and you think it will be easy to keep hitting at odds of 8.00+ or of course, some people try to hit 10-game combos with mega odds.
Those should be your fun, small bets if you need to have that in your life, LoL
I see people chasing those things and to me those are a waste of time. The 2-3 game combinations should be fun bets because at least that is a little more realistic. I know friends who do the 3-4 point line move teasers with 3 or 4 games to only get 2.80 or 3.00 and that I guess isn't the worst way to throw away money.
Anyway, I really suggest the flat stakes, level betting with lines that are useful and not too high. As soon as you see 1.60 and 1.50 as good lines? You will start to go in the wrong direction. Do the line setters know people love to think that if they make something extremely favored then the suckers think WELL IT MUST HIT/WIN?
No, that is not the case and you do actually PAY for the vig/juice when you win. People, who think The juice doesn't hurt when you win? NOOOOOO The vig ONLY HURTS when you win because a loss is a loss. You lose, you lose.
IF you bet -500 and put $100 of your hard-earned money it? YOU JUST BET $100 to ONLY WIN $20? Moron, you are a fucking moron if you think juice doesn't hurt ONLY IF YOU LOSE... fucking brains are oozing out all over the floor thinking like that! JUICE IS NOT YOUR FRIEND!
In fact, you can go 40% strike rate/win percentage and still be in the green if you play your lines right. Try putting a 2.25, a 2.40, a 2.50, a 2.15, and a 2.10 as your 5 bets today. IF you even hit 2 of out 5 you are not in terrible shape and 3 out of 5 is way in the green. Now go 5 - 0 with those lines and watch your life change.
Even if you go 5 - 0 with 1.30, 1.40, 1.50, 1.75, and 1.67 your money back won't be impressive. If you go 2 - 3 YOU ARE DEAD TODAY! LOL That shit is going to hurt because the 2 plays you hit will not even be returning you anything to make up for the losses. JUICE HURTS MORE even if you are winning because 3 of 5 wins from those 5 lines still suck and your return is still shit and not even worth your time.
Your approach will determine your results so knowing how to bet right is the first thing to recognize. My 2 or 3 cents. I have only been doing this for 25+ years so I might know a little about it, just saying. Considering I have a sports betting guidebook coming out this year I may know what the hell I am talking about!
