Hooligans fight in Ligue 1 at the derby between Lens and Lille

Again a game in French Ligue 1 made negative headlines.

At the northern derby between RSC Lens and champions OSC Lille, fans of both rivals stormed onto the field. The police had to take tough action.
The Lens supporters marched towards the travelling Lille fans in a shameful act of intimidation, delaying the start of the second half.

@Giovanni Also,Lens is something like 30 km away from Lille, it’s a real derby between a working class club (Lens) and a club from a rich and big city (Lille).

Saint Étienne vs Lyon probably remain the derby of derbies in Ligue 1 though.

Bunches of idiots... If they do want to behave like this, they should meet outside the stadium (and probably outside the city).

I love football fans, but surely not in this way... this is dangerous for stewards and sometimes also for people not involved...
