NETHERLANDS: Eredivisie - Round 1
Heracles finished in ninth place last season, just outside the last position securing qualification for the Confederation League play-offs. Otherwise, last season they got 44 points and a goal score of 42:53. They have played quite a few games in pre-season against relatively weaker or similar quality opponents. And the results have been mixed - out of 11 games they have a score of 5 wins, 5 losses and a 1 draw.
PSV finished 2nd last season with 72 points and a goal score of 74:35, only the top team in the table, Ajax, being better.
PSV are in great form this season. They have already managed to play the second round of the Champions League qualification, in which they beat the strong Galatasaray in the total score 7:2 (5:1 / 1:2). In the third round they beat Midtjylland 4:0 (3:0 / 0:1) and in the process they managed to beat Ajax 4:0 in the Super Cup!
I think PSV have the ideal opponent for this first round and they will get all 3 points.
