Gil Vicente is still only in his third season in the top league. In the two previous ones, they finished in the middle of the table in 10th and 11th place.
The value of their squad is 12 million euros and does not include any well-known names. After six rounds they have a 2-2-2 score which gives them a very nice seventh place in the table. Only Fran Navarro (4g), Pedrinho (3a) and Lino( 2g) have made a significant impact in terms of productivity.
FC Porto is a traditional Portuguese team, which will fight for the title this season as it does every year with Benfica and Sporting. It is a very good offensive team with a lot of quality individuals. Iranian Taremi and young Spaniard Martinez are leading the attack, while Colombian Luiz Dias, who has already scored 5 goals this season, is in the midfield. In defence, it's the experienced Pepe. They are currently in 2nd place with 14 points, they share this position with Sporting but Porto have a better score. In their last game they beat 5-0 Moreirense.
