The last home loss to West Ham spoiled Everton's successful start to the new season, but 14 points after the opening eight rounds still looks very good. Coach Benítez's men lost at their stadium for the first time ever, having previously won three times in a row by two goals. They will try to build on this successful series against Watford, who they have beaten in four of the last five meetings.

Watford changed the coach, but even Claudio Ranieri couldn't prevent a heavy defeat against Liverpool (0:5) on his debut. The Italian strategist did not take the failure tragically, after the match he said that he simply has to get to know his new players better and with time the results will improve. The away performance in particular will need to improve as Watford have failed to score on three of four occasions, with the exception of their win at Norwich. They failed at Brighton, Leeds and Tottenham and it won't be easy this time either.

Home team will win still without the injured Richarlison and Calvert-Lewin.
