EUROPE: Euro U21 - Qualification
Slovenia is an average team, they didn't show anything special against the Czech Republic, the Czechs have more of the game but didn't score, but the overall effort for the whole game was lucky for Czech team and in the last minutes Slovenia conceded and left with nothing. Then at home, this team won 1-0 against poor Andorra.
England is the clear favourite in the group. England also have better roster for the U21s, however, many players like Sancho, Bellingham, Saka or Phil Foden play for the senior national team and are still in the U21 age group. They are so good that this category is not enough for them anymore and they help the senior national team. However, the team is still full of quality players who are playing in the Premier League. For example, Callagher (Crystal Palace) and is there on loan from Chelsea. Then there's the young defender Aarons, who is a regular for newcomer Norwich. Guehi is playing for Crystal Palace too, raised by Chelsea again. Livramento a young offensive midfielder who transferred from Chelsea to Southampton before the season, and is putting in some excellent performances there. They dominated their first group match, beating Kosovo 2:0.
So for me it's definitely a huge England who have great players on their side and the best have been playing for the senior national team for a long time.
