Espanyol are currently in 13th position, but that is definitely not where they belong. The draw so far has been very tough and yet they have made it 9 points after wins against Alavés, Real Madrid ( both at home) and three draws. They have an unlucky defeat to Atletico, who scored the decisive goal in the 9th minute of stoppage time. Their team is not made up of any stars, but they benefit from their excellent teamwork and that is often much more. Their striker de Tomas is definitely worth mentioning, as he is very skilful and has contributed to 4 goals (3+1). The winger Vidal is also causing big problems for the opponents.
They will face Cadiz, who are in 15th position. They have a much easier draw. Their squad is worse and for me they are one of the aspirants for relegation fights. Cadiz rely mainly on defensive work and it will be no different here. Not much is expected from them and every point will be golden for them in this season.
This is where the home team wins. They have won their last two home games and especially the last win against Real Madrid (2:1) will give them a lot of boost. The team is much higher ranked and it should be a must win here if they are thinking about the higher ranks. Cadiz will come to defend, but there are creative players in home team who will steal it for their side.
