LaLiga - Round 3
FC Sevilla have taken the full 6 points from their opening 2 league games and have once again confirmed that they will attack the top positions in the league. Elche saved themselves last season only in the very last league round. I'm going to bet on Sevilla to win at Elche.
In the last league season, Sevilla almost fought for the title until the last rounds. In the end, it was "only" 4th place, but not far behind the strong trio of Atletico Madrid, Real Madrid and Barcelona.
At Sevilla there were 2 bigger changes before the season, namely at the striker position - Mir came from Wolves for 16 million EUR and Gil left for Tottenham for 25 million EUR.
In the first round, Sevilla won 3:0 at home against Vallecano and in the second round they won with a bit of luck 1:0 at Getafe, when the winning goal came basically from the last action of the match. Elche have not scored a goal in the first 2 rounds. 0:0 draw at home with Bilbao and a 0:1 loss at Atl. Madrid.
FC Sevilla have the highest ambitions again in the league this year and with a pretty pumped up squad, they should win against a very average Elche.
