Edmonton is playing in good form, having lost only one of their last 5 games and are currently 3rd in the Western Conference with a 29:19 score, just one point behind the table leader Calgary. The duo of McDavid and Draisaitl has been playing in great form as McDavid has 7 goals and 9 assists for a whopping 16 points after 7 games and Draisaitl has 5 goals and 8 assists for 13 points. Edmonton scores a lot of goals thanks to the two forwards, who create a "wind" in the offense and often the other players benefit from it. Edmonton is doing well at home, they only lost their last game against Philadelphia 3:5, otherwise they haven't lost once at home.
Their opponent is Seattle Kraken, who played a game home tonight with New York Rangers and lost 1:3. They outshot their opponents 32:18, but even that wasn't enough to win. So in 24 hours they have another tough game, against a great team and the favourites in this game. As I usually do in these "double games" in 24 hours, I will trust the home team, who play in better form, have higher quality players and are more rested. Seattle is currently 13th in the Western Conference with a negative score of 23:28 and only 7 points in 9 games.
Seattle hasn't scored many points away this season, and given the above facts, it won't be easy in Edmonton either.
