Hockey Czech Extraliga
Pardubice are on the swing in their last games, after losing 1:6 to České Budějovice they recovered and won 4:1 against Hradec Kralové. In the derby they were down 0:1, but then Dynamo completed the turnaround, which was contributed by four different scorers (Kousal, Košt'álek, Zdráhal, Blümel). Robert Říčka, the team's most productive player, got an assist and with 20 goals he is tied with Filip Chlapík for the king of scorers and is 5th in the overall scoring. However, the departure of captain Jakub Nakládal is an inconvenience for the home team, as the experienced back has played several NHL games for the Calgary Flames and Carolina Hurricanes. The new captain of the team will be Patrik Poulicek.
Tomáš Vondráček is the captain of the visitors and is currently in the best form of his team, scoring 17 goals and contributing five points (1+4) to the last two wins (against Kladno 6:4 and Zlín 4:2). Jakub Flek scored against Zlín and Jiří Černoch scored two goals, including the winning one. The win was secured by Tomáš Mikúš, who came from Zlín this season. Despite these successes, Karlovy Vary is in 13th place, their opponent is in 3rd place and they are clearly the outsiders in the match.
Pardubice managed to point eleven times against Karlovy Vary in the last twelve games, the exception being the last meeting between the teams, which Vary won 4:1. Karlovy Vary can surprise, but it is unlikely, they are not doing well in away games.
My bet:
3-Way: Dynamo Pardubice @ 1.76 (bet365)
