Injury-decimated Dortmund versus the goal machine from Amsterdam. That's also a simple way to describe this match.
The German club currently has 8 injured players - including their top scorer Erling Haaland. Still, they are winning games and scoring goals (2.7 per game on average). They beat Cologne (2-0) over the weekend and is one point behind Bayern in the Bundesliga. They won the first 2 games in the group but in the last one they just got spanked by Ajax (4-0).
The Dutch are leading their league, although they surprisingly lost points to Heracles Almelo in a goalless draw at the weekend. This spoiled their goals scored per game average (3.36). So far in the group without losing a point and with an awesome 11:1 score.
Both teams have a larger number of offensive players. Both also prefer forward rather than backwards football. So there is no "bus" to worry about and we will see several goals.
My prediction: Over 3.0 Goals @ 1.72
