EUROPE: World Cup - Qualification
Denmark showed their quality at the EURO.
Eriksen's collapse affected the first game in the group. In the next match they lost narrowly to a tough Belgium, which they clearly outplayed for at least the first half and in the last match they managed to beat Russia 4-1.
After that, Denmark made it to the semi-finals, where they were knocked out in a controversial match with England after extra time at Wembley.
But they are doing very well in the World Cup qualification. Three games, nine points and a score of 14:0. A game that is definitely worth mentioning is the 4:0 win against Austria.
The Scottish national team certainly doesn't give that impression. Last place in the group at EURO with a 1:5 score.
Scotland are currently in 2nd place with a 1/2/0 and a 7:3 score, they beat Faroe Islands 4:0 at home, draw 1:1 away with Scotland and draw 2:2 at home with Austria.
Only the first team in the group advances directly to the World Cup (second team going to Promotion) and we have not even played half of the all matches. The games against Scotland and Austria are key for the Danes and they will go for three points in Copenhagen.
I consider Denmark to be a very good and strong team overall, they proved it to us at the Euros, they shouldn't have much trouble against someone like Scotland at home stadium in Copenhagen, so I'm betting on them to win
My bet:
Handicap: Denmark AH -1.0 @ 1.76 (local bookie)
