Dallas is in 13th place in the Western Conference after 27 games with 28 points and a score of 71:78, including 41:28 at home. Dallas is not in good form and they have lost all 5 games in a row, 5:4 in Vegas, 4:0 in LA, 2:1 in San Jose and then a double game with St.Louis 1:4 and 4:1. Dallas looks a lot like Florida to me and that's when they definitely play better hockey at home and it just doesn't work out away for some reason. Dallas has won 8 of their last 9 home games in regulation time against teams like Carolina 4-1, Colorado 3-1 and Edmonton 4-1. In those 9 games they have a score of 33:15! Dallas is not doing well right now, but 4 of their 5 losses have come away. When else to get on winning form than at home against average Chicago.
Chicago is 14th in the Western Conference after 29 games with 25 points and a score of 69-93, including 30-50 away. Chicago despite the fact that they have 2 more games played than Dallas still have 2 less goals scored, which shows that Chicago's offense is not working. Only Arizona is worse offensively. Chicago has been switching wins and losses lately, but they rarely manage to win in regulation time and out of the last 11 games they only managed to do it once on the ice of tragic Montreal 0-2. Chicago has a good score from the last few games (a 5-4 loss at home to Montreal and a 5-4 win at home against Washington after overtime). In their last game, they lost at home to Nashville 2-3 in overtime. Despite these good results, Chicago has been struggling in games, losing to Washington 28:46 on shots on goal or to Nashville 19:31 and it's just a question when they will pay for it.
My bet:
3-Way: Dallas Stars @ 1.90 (bet365)
