HOCKEY: Czech Republic
Zlin are currently in last place in the table, but last time they won 3:2 at home against Olomouc. However, it was only their third win of the season and they are still 10 points behind Kladno (second to last). In addition, two very important players have recently left the team, first Tomáš Mikúš and then Peter Trška, both of whom were two of Zlin's most productive players. But recently, Latvian forward Patriks Zabusovs has arrived and could increase productivity. The home team is not doing well offensively, with 40 goals being the lowest in the league.
Trinec are the complete opposite of their opponents, winning their last four games and are currently in 1st place. In the last game Trinec won 5:2 against Karlovy Vary. Andrej Nestrašil (2+1), who has experience from the national team and came to strengthen Trinec this season, scored three points in the game. Marko Daňo also scored, the Slovak forward has NHL experience and also came in before the start of the season.
The favourite of the match is probably obvious, the duel between the last team and the first should clearly turn out better for Trinec. Trinec are as usual in the top positions and will aim for another title. Considering the results so far, Václav Varadi's team is not that far away and the last team in the table should be no problem, so the visitors will win by atleast 2 goals.
