Zlín have won three of their last five games and are still last, but they are starting to catch Kladno in points. Two of their wins came against the two extraliga giants, Třinec and Sparta. It was in the last game that Zlín managed to beat the team from the capital 6:4, it was only their second away win of the season. The hat trick was scored by defender Daniel Gazda, while only eight defenders in the Czech top competition have managed to do so before, and Gazda also assisted on one goal. Latvian forward Patriks Zabusovs scored the first goal and Alexandre Mallet, a newcomer from Brno, also pointed.
Pardubice won their last two games, the last time they beat the giant from Třinec 6:3. Anthony Camara scored two goals and had a total of four points (3+1) in the last two games, while there was speculation that he could be traded. Robert Říčka scored his 17th goal of the season and is the league's top scorer. Jan Košt'álek also impressed, recording 5 assists. Pardubice can bounce back from this performance, previously there was a slight discomfort in the team after three losses in a row, a win against Třinec can be a turning point.
Although the home team has picked up their form and defeated a very strong team, they are now facing another very strong opponent who is 4th in the table. Twice in a row Zlín will not be able to face a stronger opponent and the visitors will take all three points.
My prediction: Pardubice (in regular time) @ 1.70 (bet365)
