Zlin fans are getting one bad news after another. In their last game, the home team apparently suffered their toughest defeat of the season to Kladno 1:5 and now they are 13 points behind Kladno. In addition, the club's most productive player Tomáš Mikúš left the club, followed shortly after by the second most productive player Peter Trška. Mikúš accounted for almost half of all Zlin's goals and Peter Trška was one of the most heavily used backers in the league. Both of Zlin's best players are gone.
Olomouc haven't had a great season lately, winning twice out of six times. In the very last game before the national team break, they won 6:4 against Liberec, trailing 0:2, but then Olomouc scored six goals in a row and the game was decided in the second period. The line led by Krejci and Kania contributed a lot to the victory, together this pair produced five points.
Zlin are clearly the worst team in the league this year, winning only twice, only once by three points. Olomouc should get the mandatory three points, they managed to beat Zlin 4:2 this season and another win should come.
