Vitkovice will welcome Sparta Prague and will want to build on their last home game, when they beat Trinec 5:2. In the previous game, Mlada Boleslav ended Vitkovice's long 13-match point streak, so this was the best possible answer. Trinec were missing a few mainstays, but even without them they are one of their strong rivals. Dominik Lakatos was again the scorer, scoring two accurate hits, assisted twice by Roberts Bukarts. Vitkovice is currently on the 5th place and is in great form, thanks to the arrival of Dominik Lakatos, who lifted the whole team.
The Spartans are not doing so well, they are in 10th place, but they have two wins in a row (Mlada Boleslav 7:0, Kometa Brno 3:2 after overtime). The last win against Brno was very valuable, as the Prague team turned the game around from 0:2 at the end of the third period and won after overtime. Erik Thorell equalized just before the end and captain Michal Řepík scored two points (1+1). The visitors are doing the best in attack, 125 goals scored is the most of all teams, but there are complications in defence. With 107 goals conceded, only Kladno and Zlin are worse, which is not a good sign. In spite of this, the team from the capital is a slight favourite and could take at least two points, having won nine of their last ten mutual matches (losing only 2:3 in the last case).
My prediction: Sparta Prague (to decision) @ 1.80 (bet365)
