Vítkovice is currently in thirteenth place and probably welcomed the break, having lost three games in a row. It wasn't against easy opponents (Olomouc, Mladá Boleslav, Trinec), and the scores in all three cases were very close. Vítkovice scored only two goals, which is a long-term problem. Overall, they score on average less than two goals per game, only Zlín is worse in this aspect. Dominik Lakatos, who is returning to Vítkovice after less than a year from SaiPa Lappeenranta from the Finnish top league, could improve they offensive productivity. Swedish forward Ludwig Blomstrand is the second best scorer in the league with 13 goals, but he will probably miss this game.
