Trinec had a 17-game point streak, which was ended in the last game by Hradec, who beat Trinec 2:0. Finnish goalkeeper Henri Kiviaho nullified all Trinec scorers, but Erik Hrňa and Tomas Marcinko were missing. Overall, Václav Varadi's players failed to score for the second time in the season, the first time on home ice. Despite the latest loss, Trinec are on top of the table, four points ahead of second-placed Hradec Kralove. The home team is mainly driven by Martin Ruzicka (11+11), so he is doing well as usual.
