Mlada Boleslav have won five of their last six games, with their only defeat coming against Sparta Prague 1:3. The home team is still in first place, they are also first in total goals scored (27). They improved this statistic significantly in their last game against Ceske Budejovice, which they won 6:1. Pavel Pycha score a goal against his former team, the other mainstays also did well. Boleslav is doing well at all in this season, both power plays and shorthanded. Boleslav have offensive power in all lines, each of the third and fourth lines scored at least one point against Budejovice.
Boleslav will play against a team that has lost five games in a row after the first two wins. Litvinov dropped to the second-to-last place in the table, only Zlin is worse. Litvinov's offense is doing well, however, with Richard Jarusek being productive with seven points, while Patrik Zdrahal and new player Giorgio Estephan are also doing well. In the last three games, Litvinov has conceded 18 goals, which is 6 goals per game. The neutral fan has to be enjoying himself, it's not much fun for Litvinov fans anymore.
Litvinov will have to focus on defensive activity, it will be quite a challenge against Mlada Boleslav. While Litvinov beat Boleslav 3:2 in the pre-season, the home team has lost only once this season and will be looking for their sixth win in their last seven games.
My prediction: Asian Handicap: Mlada Boleslav -1.5 @ 1.95 (bet365)
