Mlada Boleslav are leading the league with 24 points. Boleslav have more games than many teams. In the last five games, they lost only once on the ice of Hradec 0:2, otherwise they were happy to win every time, the last time at home against Karlovy Vary 3:1. Five of Boleslav's players are in the top 30 of the Canadian scoring, even teams like Sparta or Trinec cannot rely on such a regular contribution from several players, in this aspect Boleslav have a big advantage. The biggest star is David Št'astný (4+7), he was one of the most productive players last year and played for the Czech national team for the first time.
On the other side will be Kladno, who will want to forget the 1:8 debacle with Plzen. Three defeats in a row is a warning for Kladno, they are only three points behind last-place Zlin. Jaromir Jagr has been struggling in the last few games, he doesn't have a single point from the last four, but he is one of the most productive players of his team with 5+3. His line mates Tomas Plekanec and Nicolas Hlava are a bit better (both 3+7). More is expected from the Canadian players, goalie Landon Bow is not showing convincing performances, even the pair of defensemen Cody Donaghey and Kyle Wood is not convincing yet, only defenseman Jake Dotchin contributes at least a high number of blocked shots, in this aspect he leads the whole league.
Mladá Boleslav is a clear favourite and could win the game by at least two goals.
