Liberec will welcome the team from Zlín, which dropped to the last place in the table after Sunday's game against Hradec. Liberec was in the first place before the start of the fifth round, having won three games against Hradec, Karlovy Vary and Kladno (all by only one goal). The other two games Liberec lost to Litvínov and the last game in the derby against Mlada Boleslav (both losses also by only one goal). No Liberec match ended with a difference of more than two goals, so the matches are very even.
Goalkeeper Petr Kváča has been reliable so far and Liberec is not conceding that many goals. Liberec's offense could use a bit more, though, as ten goals scored in five games is still good enough for second place, but so far they haven't faced the best offensive clubs like Sparta, Třinec or Pardubice.
Zlin has been struggling with almost everything this season, especially low offensive productivity and weak defense. Twenty goals conceded is the most in the league so far, Zlin is letting their opponents shoot very often. One of the few positive aspects of the Zlin side may be the power play (five power play goals in total). Liberec have a relatively good shorthanded and it won't be easy for Zlin.
Liberec is the favourite and should win this match.
