A duel between the worst team and the best, that's how you could describe this duel at least in terms of table position. Kladno won only one game out of six against Litvínov 3:2. The best player on the home side is Jaromir Jagr. In his last game against Karlovy Vary he had a 1+2 score, Jagr is in a nice eighth place in scoring, followed by his line mate Nicolas Hlava and Tomas Plekanec. Other players are not contributing regularly, new Canadian players are behind expectations. Jagr, as the owner of the club, will have to make some changes to keep Kladno in business. It won't be easy, he's under pressure not only on the ice, but also in the media.
Trinec will want to keep their first position in the table and they shouldn't lose points against Kladno. Traditionally, the team's big mainstays Martin Ruzicka and Tomas Marcinko are doing well, and the new players are also very valid, especially Andrej Nestrasil. The last game was played at Hradec Kralove, where they managed to turn around from a two-goal deficit and win the game 3:2. The visitors can also rely on two quality goalkeepers, this time Marek Mazanec, who worked in Hradec, played against Hradec and brought the game to a winning end.
The visitors are the big favourites and I believe they will win
My prediction: Trinec to win (incl. OT) @ 1.40 (bet365)
