Europa League - Qualification - Final
Crvena zvezda Beograd is a team that is one of the best clubs in the Serbian league at the moment and this year is no different. After 4 league games they have 10 points. Last time in the league they beat Napredak 1:0.
Surprisingly, they lost to Tiraspol in the Champions League qualification. Even though Beograd was not the worse team in both matches, Tiraspol was the lucky one in the end (1:1 / 1:0). This left Belgrade with only the Europa League qualification to play in. Still, the motivation to advance will surely be great for this club.
Their opponent is Cluj. They have no rivals in the Romanian league so far this year. After 5 rounds played they have full 15 points.
The Champions League qualification did not go well for Cluj either. Cluj fell to the Swiss Young Boys. Even though the first match ended 1:1 (Cluj played home). In the rematch, the Swiss team dominated the game and deservedly won 3:1.
Crvena zvezda rely on their home games and I haven't seen them play defensive football at home in the last few years. Given the new rule about scoring on the opponent's field, they won't be satisfied with a draw today and will go for the win.
Cluj used to be a little Romanian Atletico Madrid. Great defense, they conceded little goals, but they also scored the minimum. However, Marius Sumudica, on the other hand, has drawn a big line behind this style of play, as he prefers more offensive football. After his arrival, the goals started to fall. This match is their seventh in European Cup qualification this year and at least two goals have been scored in all of them.
My bet:
Total Goals - Over 1.5 @ 1.50 (bet365)
