Maybe it seems too crazy, but I definitely don't see the Colorado Avalanche - Anaheim Ducks game as a bookmakers.. For me, this game should be very even, because two teams that have a very good form meet, Colorado has 5 wins in a row, Anaheim has two defeats, but from absolutely even games, but before that there were 8 wins in a row.
Anaheim is 4th in the Western Conference with a 63:51 score, their strength is their defensive game, but they are not too far behind offensively, where Terry and Getzlaf are doing a lot this year.
I expect Gibson in goal, he is definitely better than Colorado's goalkeepers.
Overall, Ducks are a big surprise this season and I'll just take a chance with odds of 4 on a clean win.
Colorado Avalanche have only 15 games played so far, which is partly why they are in 9th place with a similar 61:49 score. They have 5 wins in a row now, I'd just like to point out the opponents - Ottawa (almost lost to them), Seattle Kraken, 2x Vancouver and San Jose. Yes they scored a lot of goals (31), which is really nice, but they basically played against the weakest teams and now they are facing Ducks who are playing well this year.
I consider the Avalanche goalkeepers the weakest part on the team.
Colorado can't count on the following players - Byram, Compher, French, Kaut, MacKinnon and Matteau. Ahaheim's roster is a bit more modest with Comtois, Henrique (who is a question mark for this game) and Jones out.
Colorado have dominated the games with Anaheim in history, but it's important to note that Ducks are a completely different team this year than last year, especially in terms of performance.
My bet:
3-Way: Anaheim Ducks @ 4.20 (bet365)
