NBA
In the first game, Atlanta (15-18) lost 118-130 at home. In this game, Trae Young returned to an absentee-weakened team with twenty-nine points, but even that wasn't enough.
Zach LaVine and DeMar DeRozan started for Bulls (21-10) for the second game in a row. They combined for 56 points in a 113-105 win over Indiana. In the game against Atlanta, they scored 65 points. Add to that the excellent Nikola Vucevic and this trio is very strong on its own. Even with the absence of Alex Caruso and Lonzo Ball.
Atlanta did get Young back, but they lost Bogdan Bogdanovic compared to last game and that's a noticeable weakening with John Collins out. Although Cameron Reddish had a great game last time with 33 points, but will he repeat? Chicago made a solid comeback after a forced break in mid-December. In the four games they played, they averaged 123.5 points and always beat their opponents by 5 or more points.
Both teams are among the most offensive teams. But Atlanta is missing two of its top four scorers. Chicago's top three is complete. Atlanta will have a tough time again and I believe that thanks to a slightly better defense the home team will confirm its role as a favorite and win by at least 6 points.
My bet:
Asian Handicap: Chicago Bulls -5.5 @ 1.65
