Premier League
A very even top of the table resulted in Chelsea dropping to third place after losing the London derby to West Ham. It was not an isolated blip, as Thomas Tuchel's charges have won only two of their last five league appearances, albeit leading at half-time in three of them. The situation is widely expected to be quickly rectified before the next round, as Chelsea have now won four league games at home to Leeds in a row and last lost to them in a competitive game in December 2002 (since then: 4 wins, 2 draws). It is likely that the Blues will approach the game very carefully as they have conceded more goals in the last three league fixtures (5) than in the first 12 combined (4).
Leeds are also underachieving in the capital and have only managed to win twice in their last 32 away games in London. Coach Marcelo Bielsa's charges are slowly improving and have lost just once in the last five league games (1-3-1), but they will leave Stamford Bridge empty-handed. Their situation is complicated by the injury to defender Cooper, who has started all 15 games this season and whose start is uncertain.
My bets:
Halt Time Result - Chelsea @ 1.72 (bet365)
Asian Handicap: Chelsea -1.5 @ 1.86 (bet365)
